Program: Alice Paul, Suffragette and Author of the Equal Rights Amendment
Presenter: Leslie Goddard
AAUW Riverside Branch is delighted to co-sponsor a program with the Riverside Public Library featuring Leslie Goddard as Alice Paul.
Leslie Goddard, the presenter, is an award-winning actress and scholar who has been presenting history programs for more than ten years. She holds a Ph.D. from Northwestern University specializing in American studies and U.S. history as well as a master’s degree in theater. Help us celebrate Spring and this year’s Branch Local Philanthropy award recipients, including the Ann Willard Arts and STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) scholar(s) and any Returning-to-Learning scholar. One or two students from L.J. Hauser Jr. High School will also join us to share their experiences with this year’s Hauser Cougar ADVANCE Program.
